BREAK EVERY CHAIN THAT BINDS YOU

In life there are so many things that we allow to bind us down, or that try to bind us down. I’m sure everyone has a habit that they have taken from childhood or a life experience that you have carried on and have tried to break, but you couldn’t or found it hard to break. We all have something in our past or present that we try to shake but find it difficult at times to do. I struggled and continue to struggle sometimes with patience. I remember growing up, my mother when she wanted something done she wanted it to be done now and not later. I can see that same thing in me now that I’m older with my own children. I want to break that chain of impatience, so that I don’t past that on to my children. Sometimes it just seems like it’s tough to break these chains. But there is power in the name of Jesus, to break every chain, break every chain, that we have that may hinder us or cause us pain and others. Do you believe it?

You must believe it, in order for that chain to be broken no matter if it’s from the past or present. Every time we decide to turn it over to Jesus, there is an army rising up, to help us break every chain. The chains of low-self-esteem,anger,rejection,depression,unforgiveness,untruthfulness,fornication,addiction,lack of faith,loneliness,pornography,discouragement,worry,broken marriages can all be broken from our families, if we turn it over to Jesus. As I write this, I can feel my eyes watering up, because of the fact that so many people in the world are hurting now in their lives, because of past and present chains.
Are you willing and ready to break these chains? Will you break these chains?

I pray that you begin to break every chain in your life, that has caused you pain or that is causing you pain and holding you back. Lord I pray, that if someone is reading this and they don’t know you that they come to know you. I also pray that they ask you to forgive them of their sins, and that they believe you died and rose on the third day to take away their sins, and that they accept you into their life as their Lord and Saviour in Jesus Name Amen!! I will leave you with some scriptures that can help you break these chains, and a beautiful, powerful song that I hope you take the time out to listen to, that may cause tears, as it encourages you to Break Every Chain!!!

Exodus 15:26 (NIV) 26 He said, “If you listen carefully to the Lord your God and do what is right in his eyes, if you pay attention to his commands and keep all his decrees, I will not bring on you any of the diseases I brought on the Egyptians, for I am the Lord, who heals you.”

2 Kings 20:5 (NIV) 5 “Go back and tell Hezekiah, the ruler of my people, ‘This is what the Lord, the God of your father David, says: I have heard your prayer and seen your tears; I will heal you.

Isaiah 57:18 (NIV)18 I have seen their ways, but I will heal them; I will guide them and restore comfort to Israel’s mourners.

Psalm 30:2 (NIV) 2 Lord my God, I called to you for help, and you healed me.
Psalm 107:20 (NIV) 20 He sent out his word and healed them; he rescued them from the grave.
Psalm 147:3 (NIV) 3 He heals the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds.

Matthew 13:15 (NIV) 15 For this people’s heart has become calloused; they hardly hear with their ears,
and they have closed their eyes. Otherwise they might see with their eyes, hear with their ears,
understand with their hearts and turn, and I would heal them.

Luke 9:11 (NIV) 11 but the crowds learned about it and followed him. He welcomed them and spoke to them about the kingdom of God, and healed those who needed healing.
