While reading in the Book of Songs of Songs I found somethings that were very fascinating about their relationship that God showed me that lead to intimacy way deeper than physical. So for the next 8 days I’ll share these things.

Most people say husbands are the ones who aggressively pursue their wives more so than wives pursing them. In this book that’s completely opposite. Solomon’s wife dominate the pursuit of him and she does it aggressively in a loving way so that myth is debunked.

Day 1
Solomon’s wife delights in his love.
1 vs 2: Let him kiss me with the kisses of his mouth— for your love is more delightful than wine.

– Solomon’s love for his wife and hers for him is not only recognized by them but also other’s around them.
1 vs 3: No wonder the young women love you!
1 vs 4: (From her friends) We rejoice and delight in you we will praise your love more than wine.

-Solomon compliments her and gives her the best and she compliments him and she smelled good for him and he recognized not only her beauty but her smell.

10 Your cheeks are beautiful with earrings,
your neck with strings of jewels.
11 We will make you earrings of gold,
studded with silver.

His Wife
12 While the king was at his table,
my perfume spread its fragrance.

15 How beautiful you are, my darling!
Oh, how beautiful!
Your eyes are doves.

His Wife
16 How handsome you are, my beloved!
Oh, how charming!

They complimented each other embracing the gift of marriage!!
Stay tuned tomorrow for DAY 2!!!
