I have four points to share from my study this morning.

1. Nothing that we would ever face in life is too small or too big for God. (Nothing).

Deuteronomy 2:36 NIV
From Aroer on the rim of the Arnon Gorge, and from the town in the gorge, even as far as Gilead,( not one town was too strong for us. The Lord our God gave us all of them.)

2. We don’t have to fight our battles alone.  God is willing to go to battle with us and for us.

Deuteronomy 3:22 NIV
Do not be afraid of them; the Lord your God himself will fight for you.”

3. There are times in our life when God doesn’t give us the answer that we’re looking for no matter how much we ask or pray for it. But that doesn’t mean that he doesn’t love us.
This below is coming from Moses, one God loved.

Deuteronomy 3:23-26 NIV
At that time I pleaded with the Lord : “Sovereign Lord , you have begun to show to your servant your greatness and your strong hand. For what god is there in heaven or on earth who can do the deeds and mighty works you do? Let me go over and see the good land beyond the Jordan—that fine hill country and Lebanon.”   But because of you the Lord was angry with me and would not listen to me. “That is enough,” the Lord said. “Do not speak to me anymore about this matter.

4. When something good happen for those around you even though it might not bring you any benefit or even if it was something that you might have wanted but didn’t get.  We should still encourage them.

Deuteronomy 3:28 NIV
But commission Joshua, and encourage and strengthen him, for he will lead this people across and will cause them to inherit the land that you will see.”

Moses wanted to enter the promise land but he couldn’t. Even though he couldn’t, God still wanted him to encourage Joshua and those who would enter into his promise. I would say that took a lot of courage and humbleness and maturity for Moses to do that.
