When we are making decisions that can impact others besides ourselves. We have to be willing to take into account and consider, how those decisions will impact them and be willing to hear their input. We should refrain from taking on the characteristic of Pharaoh. Pharaoh being in control only thought about his power and refuse to take into account how his decisions impacted his people. All his decisions were about him.
Pharaoh’s officials said to him, “How long will this man be a snare to us? Let the people go, so that they may worship the Lord their God. Do you not yet realize that Egypt is ruined?”
2-When God wants total control we can not negotiate how much control he has or how much we want to give him. That’s exactly what Pharaoh tried to do when he was going to decide to let the Israelites go worship. He was going to try and put stipulations on God. We can never put stipulations on God. In the end God always prevails.
Exodus 10-8 NIV
Then Moses and Aaron were brought back to Pharaoh. “Go, worship the Lord your God,” he said. “But tell me who will be going.” 10-11 NIV No! Have only the men go and worship the Lord , since that’s what you have been asking for.” Then Moses and Aaron were driven out of Pharaoh’s presence.
