It’s always good to know you have support from family and friends. I can remember several situations in my life, that with my family support, it made the situations I was dealing with, a lot easier. When you’re showing others support, what you’re telling them, is that I care about you, and care about what you’re going through. You’re saying that you are not alone, in this process. Sometimes people choose not to be supportive because it will cause them inconvenience. I would use the term selfish. There could be two outcomes to our situation, depending on if he have support or not. So how important is support? Exodus 17:10-13. So Joshua fought the Amalekites as Moses had ordered, and Moses,Aaron and Hur went to the top of the hill. As long as Moses held up his hands, the Israelites were winning, but whenever he lowered his hands, the Amalekites were winning. When Moses’ hand grew tired, they took a stone and put it under him and he sat on it. (Aaron and Hur held his hands up-one on one side, one on the other-so that his hands remained steady till sunset. So Joshua overcame the Amalekites army with the sword!!! So Moses with out support during that weak moment couldn’t have defeated the Amalekities…..and the Israelites would have been defeated. We all need a support system!!!!! especially at our weakest moments…..
